RateMyAgent and Curated Social merge to form Renowned platform

The combined platform will channel verified reviews, past agent performance and hyperlocal market insights into content that will help agents build their digital reputation.

Agent review site RateMyAgent and social media publishing platform Curated Social have joined forces to create Renowned, an integrated suite of Local Expert Marketing (LEM) solutions for agents.

Jim Crisera | Renowned

The combined platform will channel verified reviews, past agent performance and hyperlocal market insights into content that will help agents build their digital reputation, according to a press statement.

“Renowned helps brokerages turn agent performance into presence and presence into growth,” Renowned CEO Jim Crisera said in a statement. “By combining verified reputation data with automated, done-for-you marketing, we help their agents win more listings and more buyer business.”

The new product aims to help agents adapt to the shifted market of fewer deals and more competition for listings, while also increasing their digital visibility for consumers who often start their search for an agent online.

Nearly 70 percent of buyers and sellers only interview one agent after first conducting their search online by reading reviews, taking a look at an agent’s digital presence and analyzing their local expertise, Renowned said, citing NAR data.

Brokerages that employ Renowned will help agents to increase their digital visibility without actually having to be online themselves, build trust through verified reviews and transaction history, show up in AI search and assistant tools, and more, the company said.

Joe Duenat | Renowned and Curated Social

In addition to capturing reviews via RateMyAgent and turning sales activity and local insights into content through Curated Social, the platform automates distribution across digital platforms, including social media, Google Business profiles, brokerage websites and elsewhere.

“While other companies offer point solutions such as a review site, a design platform, or a posting tool, Renowned addresses the full agent marketing lifecycle, automating its Local Expert Marketing solutions across social media, search and brokerage websites,” Joe Duenat, EVP of strategy at Renowned and co-founder of Curated Social, said in a statement.

Renowned has full-brokerage and individual agent subscription packages. Annual agent packages range from $35 to $80 per month, and brokerage packages vary widely depending on the scale of the firm and desired platform features.
